Payment hold

To keep the Spot It Marketplace safe for buyers and sellers we may need to put a hold on your funds.

How payment hold works

• New sellers will have a payment hold of up to 14 days.
• Infrequent sellers will have a payment hold of up to 14 days.
• Previously suspended sellers will have a payment hold of 30 days, while we confirm the items have been delivered.
• High priced items will have a payment hold of up to 30 days, for the protection of the buyer.

Note

• An infrequent seller is someone who has not sold an item in 90 days.
• An high priced item is any item sold for $500.00 or more.
• Funds will be held securely by Stripe. Spot It will not earn any interest on these funds.
